Jim Carville, Ragin' Cajun, Sees Mitt Romney as Republican Nominee
Politico ^ | March 25, 2011 | Patrick Gavin

Democratic political strategist James Carville has made his 2012 prediction: Mitt Romney will be the GOP nominee.

Carville made the pick during a speech in New York on Thursday to ICON Capital, a group for which he consults. A source there told POLITICO that Carville thought Jeb Bush was perhaps a more natural choice, but suffered thanks to his last name.

"If Jeb Bush were named Jeb Smith he'd probably be the front-runner," Carville said, referring to the fact that the Bush family has already had two presidents.

This comes a week after another Carville speech in which he compared the GOP's 2012 field to the lackluster NFC West division in the National Football League.

Would it help or hurt Romney's chances to change his religion?

If Romney's in, count me out.

No one calls James Carville, “Jim,” not even James Carville.

To be a fly on the wall with an HD camcorder when Obama confessed to his ‘handlers’ the truth about his Birth Certificate or lack thereof. It would be an instant YouTube multi-million view hit and put Springsteen’s and Hitler’s numbers to shame. It might even challenge ‘Charlie’.

We’re not going to let a democrat who looks like a muppet that was washed on hot pick our nominee.

They talk the most about who they would like to run against the most.

You could be right about that. I know a lot of people who just will not vote for Romney, ever.

Me too. I would rather see Hussein finish destroying the US so we can rebuild it from the ground up.

James ('the snake') Carville's prediction that Mitt Romney will be the Republican party's 2012 presidential nominee simply proves, once again, that the Democrat party and it's media lackeys are attempting to choose the GOP candidate to run against Obama in 2012. Obviously, Romney is the weakest candidate they can find, much as John McCain filled that role in 2008 as the 'designated loser' for the Republicans. Not this time, Snake.

Obama's flat-out destructive, socialist policies and the aggressive actions of the congressional Democrats when they held a voting majority in the House that worked directly against the desires of the American people finally woke up many Americans and the TEA (Taxed Enough Already) party came into being. It's millions of members will not be swayed by leftist operatives and phony polls that promote a RINO such as Mitt Romney as the 2012 GOP presidential nominee. I'm a Palin supporter but even if she doesn't run - or does and loses the primary contests, I will not vote for another RINO in 2012. I don't want a 'third party' but I'll vote Libertarian or anyone but a RINO, no matter how reassuring their promises or 'conservative' their rhetoric. Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. Never again.

They talk the most about who they would like to run against the most.

Put aside the fact that he's a phony-baloney country-club RINO of the first order, he's also responsible for govenment health care in Massachusetts. If he runs against Obama, that issue is immediately off the table and, in effect, stipulated by both sides. Everyone who is against National Socialist Health Care has no where to go, and many of them will stay home.

The Snakehead is probably right about Romney being the Republican Nominee, but he will never be President.

Wouldn’t Carville just LOVE that?! It would be a MASSIVE mistake for Romney to get the nomination. Would he be better than Obama? I really don’t think being “a little bit better” is GOOD ENOUGH.
