How many $$$ will the schools have to fork over.
Abuse in schools is far higher than anywhere else. (Excepting possible homes where parents are sexually abusing children.)

Assistant school principal Jose Martinez who recently resigned from his post was arrested and charged.... District officials say they are fully cooperating with authorities in the ongoing investigation.
Imagine that. He wasn't promoted or reassigned by the schools so he could keep on abusing boys, but instead they are "fully cooperating with authorities in the ongoing investigation".
What a novel concept.
You know, it's pretty sad when the Catholic church could take lessons from the public schools on how to deal with pedophiles when caught in their midst.

Yeah metmom, don't you know that everybody rapes children and the victims are just out for money? Just ask any Salvation and some other Catholic FReepers and they'll tell you...

Dear Salvation,
“(Excepting possible homes where parents are sexually abusing children.)”
This is misleading.
Sexual abuse by biological parents happens but isn't common.
Sexual abuse within “blended” families by step-parents and live-ins is significantly more common.

Abuse in schools is far higher than anywhere else. (Excepting possible homes where parents are sexually abusing children.)I guess this means we should just forget about all the priests that have raped kids.. after all schools do it more , and homes do it more
Seems to me that would be expected and 100% of kids are in schools and homes and probably only 15% or so are in Catholic churches

Do you know any parents that sexually abused their children that you speak of here? I know of none. And any abuse in public schools that I read about, the perpetrator is dismissed and the law called in.
Why did you leave out the obvious - the catholic church? Can this be another cover for the RCC with finger pointing at others? The RCC has a triple whammy - the law had to come after them because they covered for the sexual abusers for years while 'claiming' to have an association with God's Church, and their imposed consequences for members of coming against them. Truly mafia like tactics.
God bless those parents who home school their children - that's love in action as there are unspoken sacrifices in home schooling but the rewards are great! And, needless to say, there are some who come against anything good. Jealousy and the need to control what others do is often found in the pious crowd.

Abuse in schools is far higher than anywhere else. NOWHERE but in the Roman Catholic church are pederasts protected, defended, hidden and even promoted. The RCC has become a breeding-ground for the next generation of homosexuals. For Roman Catholics to defend this sinful racket and try to deflect blame is disgusting, and is just one more reason why this "problem" is growing.
The ONLY conclusion to be drawn is that the RCC wants it this way; that the RCC prefers their pederasty to a safe environment for children; that this cabal of "alter Christus" actually and truly believe they are entitled to rape children and remain above reproach or restraint.
(Excepting possible homes where parents are sexually abusing children.)
Wow. Your words, Salvation, are in black and white and will last longer than this thread, serving to show everyone just how Rome handles the evil at its core -- by pointing fingers at others, even at parents who seek to protect their children from wolves dressed in robes, who baptize their children with one hand and corrupt them with the other.
