Jones, 21, of 2515 Cattail Circle, ran to the sedan, pulled out a .22-caliber revolver and fired, striking Kelly three times and the 7-year-old girl four times, McRoberts said. The 4-year-old girl was unharmed. Kelly and his daughters ran into a nearby Popeye's Chicken and Biscuits restaurant for help, police said. McRoberts said they were taken to Cape Fear Valley Hospital, and their injuries were non-life-threatening. Makes no sense unless it was BB or Airsoft gun.

I believe the pistols favored by the Amish youth tend to be smaller caliber and higher capacity. They often carry .32 and .380 autos which would wound but not kill a 7 year old if hit in a limb. Of course this assessment is not based on any facts in the story, just anecdotal evidence.

Don’t know about the south, but up here in the northern states, if you’re in a neighborhood with a Popeye’s, you need to get out of the slums immediately.
