When I realize that probably some 20-25 year old “KID” is flying that ..... it sure challenges my perspective on my own life!
Highly unlikely! More like 35 to 50 year old lifer who is as professional and decent as they come. Not to say that 20 year olds are not, but you don’t sit in a (THAT) bird until you have finished college and the Academy. Then you cut your teeth for a decade to get the chance.
Look at it like this...the KC135 that refuels it is most likely 45 years old.....And the man flying it could be in the same seat that his father was in back when the plane was new.
