Wonder if she was met by Mike Todd or Richard Burton?
Both!
RIP fair lady, she sure had enough tragedy and pain in her life

She lived a full life, she was one of the most beautiful of women when she was young and a good actress. RIP Liz.

I liked her best as “Maggie the cat” in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

Yep, that was a great flik. While not one of her best, she did pretty good in Cleopatra. An amazing and tragic life story in many ways but she brought much enjoyment to the screen. RIP Liz. Her movies are her legacy for most of us.

“RIP fair lady, she sure had enough tragedy and pain in her life” She handled the adversity with grace and dignity. She was a beautiful person, inside and outside.

Battle is on between Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angelina Jolie to play Liz....My vote goes to Zeta-Jones.
I actually saw Liz in person many years ago. She was breathtakingly beautiful and her eyes really were violet, in the days before colored contacts.
RIP..

When Paul Newman turned down her advances, I always envisioned the entire heterosexual male portion of the audience enthusiastically volunteering their services. LOL

That’s a nice summary. She also kept her nose pretty much out of politics and “shut up and acted” or whatever, unlike so many of the morons today. And she was a good role model for Michael Jackson. (OK that was uncalled-for!)
RIP Liz.
