How old are those aircraft?

Our planes are dropping more parts than bombs.

Testament to their longevity, I guess. First flight of the F15 was what, 1972?

Most of them are 20+ years old.

Somewhere around 2007 - 2008 they were all grounded for possible wing problems.

I'm shooting from the hip here but the F15 is over 30 years old. Yes there have been many upgrades and this could have been a newer model. There are many on this site who know far more than me about aircraft and I'm sure that they will comment. But it needs to be looked into. The US has always had air superiority since WW2. It's the mainstay of our defense.
