Yes, he is. I would not vote for him in a primary but head to head with Obama, I would vote for the lesser laughing stock and I cannot say that about another potential "R" candidate (Romney).

I’ll support his run if he runs as a third party liberal alternative to Øbama. Trump is no conservative. That’s the best use we can get from him.
