Great line. Reminds people of the difference between the old and the new, the meek and the bold, the tea party and the GOP.
Fortunaely, I don’t think the media machine and the squish Repubs will deter Sarah.
to quote the Blues Brothers: She’s on a mission from God.
I missed that.
She sure sounded great with the Q&A—and as if she’s ready for a run. Speech could have been more polished, a little less Alaska.
Lost my connection right when she was asked about outsourcing. Can anyone confirm, did she give a full-throttled free trade answer?
Thanks.
The fact that he was in attendance sends a message about how important they feel Sarah could become on the world stage.
She did great! I wonder what bits the now ZOTTED pissant would pick out to make her look bad?
If any of the PDSers had.any doubt Palin’s support for McCain was only a payback, that quote alone should end any and all debate. Of course, most here knew.that anyway.
That was classic! Boom, taste my nightstick, former McCain staffers and rug biters!
Her comment about the GOP containing the words “like”, “sometimes”, “sheep”, “instincts” and “fighting” will surely have ruffled some feathers - or is it wool?
:-)
Extremely impressive showing by the Governor.
She laid out what I think will be her platform when she runs
- Energy independence will be a key focus and shell show how it is intrinsically linked with every facet of our economy
- Shrinking the size and scope of government cutting not only waste and fraud but also moving things to the private sector and out of the governments purview
- Encouraging private sector growth by getting the government off the backs of entrepreneurs (ending destructive over regulation and killing Obamacare although I didnt hear her mention it specifically here)
- Strong national security let our friends know we support them, let our enemies know to beware and let those we have a mixed relationship to understand the boundaries of our relationship. Also theres only so much she can and should say here since each situation needs to be handled differently some with private negotiations and such
In a Palin presidency, America will once again be open for business. Our friends will know they can rely on us and our enemies know that they will be challenged and taken to task for their deeds.
In short, and to quote the next President of the United States, 2012 cant come soon enough.
Also...
I was intrigued by a few other things...
- the interviewer in the Q/A treated her like she already was the President...or that it at the very least was a foregone conclusion.
- Palin said that it was policy not to talk down our President in foreign countries...but that, to my knowledge, is only true of those who are currently in office. The fact that she positioned herself in that light suggests to me at least that she already views herself as someone who is auditioning for government service.
I wasnt at the top of the ticket................................................ Oh yes you were, you just didn’t realize it. It was you who saved McCain from a complete disaster!
I think it's clear that Governor Palin is the frontrunner, both to people here in the U.S. and to people in other countries. Indeed, the MSM's unrelenting attacks on her are a strong indicator of just how much the left fears her election.
I have already heard references to President Palin, and I am certainly looking forward to her inauguration. She will make a fine president.
We used to call that whistling in the dark. I pray America stands tall again, but we seem to have more than enough Communists in both parties to drag us down.
Why can Boner not find a way to stop the 120,000,000.00 that the dims hid in the health bill ti ensure that ObamaCare implemented?
Clue, the leadership really wants this monstrosity to become law, they are traitors all.
If she wins, I'm going. 598 days left until we make it a possibility.
Haven’t found any info on coverage by C-Span, but meanwhile, the Q & A is here...and speech will be up in a couple hours:
