Wisconsin after the Union Takeover
The American Thinker ^ | March 19, 2011 | Josiah Cantrall

Posted on 03/19/2011 4:02:57 AM PDT by Scanian

"Are you wearing a bulletproof vest?"

Click. Michael Hintze's phone line went dead -- the caller never identified himself. A prominent Wisconsin Tea Party leader, Hintze is the latest recipient of anonymous death threats.

Maybe you thought it was finally over in Wisconsin. Walker overcame the liberal blitzkrieg, elected Republicans decided that there's no moderate stance between bankruptcy and prosperity, the bill was passed and signed, and the fourteen Democrats gave up their life on the run.

But there's more. Though chapter one undeniably ended with a resounding victory for Walker, the next part may easily become a forgotten chapter among thousands in the left's annals of Alinsky-style combat.

Wisconsin has become the latest setting for organized liberal activism. Pro-union forces are setting out to execute the power-plays of leftism: divide, intimidate, and conquer. Community organizers are working tirelessly to increase the opposition through lies and distortion in the hope of building cold-blooded hatred for Walker and his allies.

Traditional Wisconsin symbols have been co-opted to foment anti-Walker sentiment. UW Madison mascot Bucky Badger is portrayed as a victim of Walker's budget cuts, cheese is promoted as union-friendly, and some even claim that Walker has cut state funding for the Green Bay Packers.

Shockingly, the absurdity doesn't end there. The Wisconsin Dog Rescue is joining others in vilifying Walker as a dog-hater, and liberal blogs steadfastly avow that "Governor Scott Walker wants to kill puppies."

More threats from the DOJ, the DNC, and the MSM;
all now allies with al Qaeda against America.

"Are you wearing a bulletproof vest?"

Proper response, "Are you? No matter, I can shoot the tiny balls off a liberal at 150 feet with my .357."

This is not going to end well. I can feel it in my bones. Judicial fiat has overruled the will of the people in that state. Union thugs and leg breakers are arriving by the busload from all points of the compass. What next? A caning on the steps of the capitol? An armory seized by secessionists? Confrontation between state militia and federal authority? A coup d’etat. The Left seeks and desires it. One way or another.

Absurdity??

Even a casual observer of History should get a queasy feeling, recognizing the promulgation of this kind of inflamatory propaganda as the first step towards justifying and fomenting ‘popular uprisings’ leading to Totalitarianism....

The Putsch is underway.....

"Are you wearing a bulletproof vest?"

Liberal "tolerance" and love of peace on display.

I’ve been calling the punks out for years. I’ve gone so far as to give them directions to my home from the Tampa airport so they can learn for themselves the meaning of true Southern hospitality.

So far, no takers.

I guess you have to be on TV before they think it’s worth their “precious” lefty time.

(I go around similarly equipped, BTW)

“The Putsch is underway”

Could be but I don’t know. Maybe I’m too old and my education was too retro but I have a real hard time understanding how anyone with an IQ over room temperature or a 3rd grade education could fall for those ridiculous union goon tactics.

Are we are ally that lowbrow and babyish as a nation?

Maybe so but I find their tactics freakin’ laughable!

“Judicial fiat has overruled the will of the people in that state.”

Then the taxpaying voters and corporations will do what they’ve been doing for years now in the northeast - they vote with their feet leaving hollowed-out shells of states filled with the permanent underclass, illegal aliens (the “sanctuary” nonsense is just to have ANYONE in these areas, keeping schools & businesses going), and the public sector employees required to provide food, clothing, shelter, etc. to such garbage.

“Union thugs and leg breakers are arriving by the busload from all points of the compass.”

Much of this rabble is simply overweight, middle-aged parasite teachers; one punch and those cows would drop like a stone...

: )

In Maryland the teachers had a protest the other day. They trashed the place and those not with the teachers were told their ssafety could not be assured.

Is this what they are teaching?

” how anyone with an IQ over room temperature or a 3rd grade education could fall for “

I offer into evidence the Public ‘Education’ System of the past 20+ years - which, abetted by ‘Pop Culture’, has systematically programmed, by now, multiple generations of ‘Americans’ to accept, uncritically and unquestioningly, any and all leftist propaganda.....

Yes, there really is a significant portion of the population that will be susceptible to this kind of agitation and fomenting.....

Don't know why, but the events in WI make me think of the tactics of Raila Odinga.

The issue is, then, “How big a segment?”

I just can’t relate to it at all. I must lack sensitivity on some level. I have belonged to 3 unions in my time and I couldn’t relate to it then, either. I used to walk out of those meetings shaking my head in disgust.

I’ve known made mob guys who had more class. At least that’s how they came across to me. These union types don’t even bother with the pretense.

Maybe they are just inccapable of it. Richard Trumka is the archetype of what I’m talking about: fat, ugly, big-mouth, paranoid, and boorish.

Wait until we finally get folks in Washington to slash and burn the budget...our country right now is operating above the will of the people , the rule of law is determined by who is in power, not the constitution, if it turns uglier, then so be it, it will be on those who wish to enslave the people of the USa who start it, What would happen if 2 million folks showed up in Washington and demanded the budget be balanced w/o raising taxes, while eliminating the federal g’s right to raise money or borrowing it, If those same folks stormed the capital and white house and demonstrated saying Obozo must go and closed down the congress?
Since they are not capable as of yet of representing us it is our right, what would happen? That day may come if we want to keep our country, I hope the militarywill be passive to such a peoples movement..

Teachers seem to be the most thuggish of all. It’s very bizarre - a supposedly conservative teacher called Rush yesterday, defending teachers and their salaries, but he admitted that he never mentions to his fellow teachers that he is “conservative” (although I wasn’t sure exactly what was conservative about him) and that he was basically afraid of them.

” The issue is, then, “How big a segment?” “

That is the question, isn’t it??

Big enough, I’m afraid, that it - and the threat it poses - needs to be taken seriously... We’re past the point where we can safely ‘laugh it off’ with “This is America - it can’t happen here”.....

Their tactics are laughable to those with no fear.

There are many more people scared to death because they lack the will and ability to defend their person.

Most people are taught that it is the job of the local police to defend their person, and get rather shaken when they realize the police are with the communists.

Police relate more to criminals than citizens. They spend more of their time dealing with perpetrators of crime than victims of crime. In most of this Republic, the local police are the enforcement mechanism that prevents the citizen from obtaining a means of personal defense.

The only service they really offer in most places is the free body bag when they show up after the fact of your homiciding by some rabid criminal they let go.

Most people are easily intimidated by the threat of violence.

Perhaps you might refresh yourself in the history of the years leading up to the NAZI rise to power in Germany —

I ain’t laughing....
