Basically, who got the country to this position, newbies, or old pro’s?

So, you're ready to turn your E class Mercedes over to the hot rodding kid down the street, just because the last mechanic who worked on it made some mistakes?

According to your logic, things like hard won knowledge, time on the job, experience, proven aptitude and ability, etc., are less important than passion and a sense of gung ho.

That's dangerous. It's exactly what Obama was. New guy with lots of lofty ideas, but with no track record of accomplishment, etc.

How 'bout we choose someone for our next president who has passion and experience? Conservatives ought to keep the bar high for US president.

Obama is very accomplished and his ideas are as old as dirt.

All real change is done by the young.

How about we put a full throttle conservative in, and kick the wasps nest over. Again, we’ve done the Bush/Chenney/Hastert/Lott route, and got more big gov, big spending, and big debt. The decapitation of the GOP of hacks like Bennett, Castle has been a good start. They, were the ‘experienced’ hacks that were water carriers, boot lick accomidationists. Every successful revolt begins with party purging. Process hacks, admins are a dime a dozen. Management staff can be hired to flesh out details.
