Also, one year for Passover, we used wasabi instead of the regular horseradish for our bitter herbs. It was so good. Mmm Mmm.
LOL
Wasabi is horseradish. They grind it into a powder and add food coloring.
I know, I know, I’m Cliff Claven.
Goes great on a Rueben.
Reminds me of an old joke sung to the tune of Love and Marriage.
Charoset? I don’t know. I have a Jewish friend who can’t make up her mind what it’s for.
I think it’s for the bitter herbs.
She is acting funny today. LOL
We called another Maccabee and he says it’s the Maror.
Whatever. I just love the food, the prayers and traditions.
Now that I think of it, most people can’t make potato latke’s that don’t taste like ground up stone and just as heavy.
I could Wasabi and it would instantly make them edible. Yum!
Why is this night different from all the others?
Same friend as above is the only person who makes latkes that aren’t just edible or tasty. They are light, fluffy and just delicious!
She makes them better than anyone. Can’t wait til next month.
