Former White House correspondent Helen Thomas told a national conference of campus journalists that President Obama owes her an apology for his criticism last year of her comments about Israel.
"I want an apology from the president," Thomas, 90, said Tuesday to the hundreds of student journalists and their advisers attending the keynote session of the annual spring convention of College Media Advisers (CMA) at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
Shin Inouye, director of specialty media in the presidential press office, said the White House would not comment on Thomas' demand for a presidential apology.

There’s some legitimacy to her demand. She just said out loud what most progressives think. His condemnation of her was, I believe, phony. But that’s life in politics. If Zero thinks you might reduce his power, you’re under the bus.
Funny stuff - and so are the photos, in a sadistic sort of way. (sarc) We all know that Obama doesn’t apologize to anyone because he never does anything wrong. (/sarc) Helen Thomas? Well, she is just some screwy old lady that talks too much and gave away the true attitude of the left toward the Jews’ ancestral homeland and it’s modern, democratic government that contrasts with the fake monarchies and flat-out dictatorships that make up the ‘middle east’.
