His hair really is black. The hairdressers sprinkle baby powder to give the artificial “I’m old and stressed out” look. Then, when the time is right he appears with the black hair to look “Young, refreshed and ready to save the world”. All gimmicks.

It’s the Clintonian “I’m concerned” lip pursing.
Give him a week, he’ll be biting the lower lip next.

I’ll be curious to see this no-fly zone exercised. I predicted it would never happen. Let’s see what goes down now.

Is that from his speech today???That photo was from google, but I noticed Obama made that same face more than five times during today's speech. With DVR you can rerun it and slow the picture down and there it was.
A photo of Obama making that exact same facial gesture also ran today in the Opinion section of the Wall Street Journal.
Weird.

This whole U.N. resolution calling for "
military intervention" and "
an immediate cease fire" is a waste of time.
They should have gone with the tried and true "strongly worded condemnation" and an additional "referral to the Security Council."
Or in a breach of etiquette they could have skipped straight to the "threat of further economic sanctions."

If he is providing a no fly zone for MOOMARs forces there should not be too much ground interference. Good point because the UN resolution calls for an immediate ceasefire and protection of civilians. If rebels continue to shoot, will UN forces be obligated to attack the rebels?

1. Obama needs a diversion from economy and Wisconsin, Ohio etc.
2. Obama needs to defuse the accusations of "indifference and inactivity" as was "Rwanda" on Clinton's watch.
3. Obama needs to make it "humanitarian" and "international" - "NO GOING IT ALONE!" and "NO BLOOD FOR OIL!"
4. Therefore, Obama is making Muammar Gaddafi into Slobodan Miloević of the Africa / Middle East, something he can "win" from the air, without putting in the ground forces...
Duh! WINNING! The Charlie Sheen of the Presidents is running same ole' Democratic play / ploy...
