I used to be a Pepsi drinker until they changed the logo to look like the Kenyan’s... since then, not ONE DROP in this house.
I have also avoided Pizza Hut, KFC, Frito-Lay, and many of their other brands.

Pepsi no longer owns KFC or Pizza Hut. In 1997, Pizza Hut, KFC and Taco Bell were spun off and operate as Yum! Brands, Inc. They have since acquired Long John Silver’s and A&W All-American Food. However in January of this year, Yum announced plans to see A&W and Long John Silvers, leaving us to wonder what will happen with the dual franchise owners.
The great majority of the stores have a contract for Pepsi products although some older stores are grandfathered to sell Coke if that was their original supplier and the owner did not want to switch. A&W soda is owned by Dr Pepper, so they sell a non Pepsi product in those restaurants.
Thanks to the Colonel, KFC has a strong franchise owners group, who have a lot of input in how the company is run.
BTW...My daughter-in-law is a franchisee.
So if you do not want to support Pepsi, just order iced tea when you have your chicken, pizza, fish, or tacos. ;)
