If this is right, and the police stood by and said they could do nothing, then something is very wrong. Those actions were one step away from inciting violence. What in the heck. Is this story accurate? INCREDIBLE.

You got that. It is the right of the people to petition the government for the redress of grievances. Those petitions should have been quietly observed, and at the first sign of destruction, the protection of those documents should have begun.

Police are also union. They're going to have to be busted too.
Yes - the Ruling Class (government workers in this case) are becoming a new aristocracy.
I'm sure the cops would happily break heads if we refused to pay our taxes (and by extension, their salaries).
