Sen. DeMint risks his Tea Party standing for Romney

It is that sort of no-nonsense, principled conservatism that has made him a favorite among the staunchest Tea Party activists. But wait, now he’s saying, in essence, that’s no big deal. The Hill reports:
DeMint blames Democrats in the Massachusetts State Legislature for adding many of the features to Romney’s plan that many on the right decry.
“It just depends on how he plays it. For me, I think he started with some good ideas that were essentially hijacked by the Democrat Legislature,” DeMint said.

At least on this one point, I’m willing to consider DeMint’s comments to be diplomacy. If he turns into a McCain, he’s off my list, but I don’t demand that every sentence uttered be pure even when considered in isolation.

I wish you people would research before you go spouting the MSM as gospel. DeMint supported Romney in 2008, these are quotes from 2008. DeMint is not now supporting Romney. This is rehashed liberal media spin and you bit.

Please see my post #11. People, can’t you see the press is stirring this up from the last election just to get conservatives upset. Geez, if you believe this stuff we have no hope for 2012 because whether DeMint, Palin, or Bachman get nominated the press plans to tear them to shreds and even folks on FR fall for the games being played.
DeMint does no longer support Romney. Read his book why don’t ya!

Conservatives are kept too busy. Downsize some, and give a day a week to joining/starting Tea Party action groups if you really want things to change.
Get rid of the TV. Even the most aware people are swallowing subtle propaganda through the TV.
Muslim atrocities in the USA are sure to punctuate the next few years. When they occur, try to open the public debate about muslim immigration. With each new muslim atrocity, the level of public discussion about the issue deserves to increase.
