Gadhafi has the momentum in putting down this uprising. The UN vote will only embolden him to act with more swiftness and end it quickly.

Depending on how quickly and robustly this no fly zone and airstrikes are used, Kadaffi may well lose the momentum in his offensive. Without his airpower, he's lost a major component of his offensive power. If airstrikes are used on his ground forces, he could well be doomed though chances are airstrikes will only be used on air defense positions. But without air assets, he will not be able to move on Benghazi without and more Libyans will likely now be emboldened to join the fight. I think this will turn the tide against Kadaffi. It may not be his end, but it will at least push back some of the gains he's made and return the situation to at least a stalemate. We'll see.

Watch what happens tomorrow. It’s going to be full out balls to the wall assaults on rebel positions, to hell with “holy” day. He’ll get it wrapped up by Monday.

“he could well be doomed though chances are airstrikes will only be used on air defense positions.”

A couple of ‘errant’ 2000lbs bombs make his troops think twice about fighting for Ghadaffi
