It’s his money, he can do what he wants with it.
I don’t think I’d want Trump as President, but it doesn’t hurt to have him run. He brings a perspective that might help drive the issues in the campaign. I saw him on Cavuto and liked what he said.

Let's see....$600MM against the stain on the Presidency of the US's $1BB???
Good luck, trumpster...good luck.
I do believe the trumpster is the only candidate out there with the balls to attack the stain and keep it up relentlessly...and not be made a fool of by the MSM ... as has Ms. Palin.
And won't the debates be fantastic tho...?? The trumpster will "cut his teeth" on the incredibly weak field of rino candidates; then face off against the stain!

Whatever.
Didn’t Romney try buying the Presidency once or twice?

Good for him. Maybe some of the GOP-backstabbers
will now step forward (unlikely because THEY are cowards).

I think Obama is trying to setup a ‘Clinton-Perot-Bush’ scenario for his 2012 run.

Is Trump really a Republican? I am very sceptical about him. IIRC, the Dems planted some of their candidates as ohony Tea Party candidates in the 2010 election to “split the anti-vote”. I have this awful feeling that Trump is a Democratic plant in the Republican Party for 2012.

This could be good or bad. Good in that it will force Obama to fight multiple fronts and bad if Trump turns into another Perot.
Either way, the POTUS election has become an American Idol popularity contest.
I have to admit I would really enjoy seeing him tell Obama, “You’re Fired!”

Trump is a media whore. He has found that he can get a round of interviews every four years by declaring that he will likely run.

With all the money in the US Presidential elections, we get the best President that money can buy.
However, that is NOT always the best President.

IIRC, Obammy spend a billion.
He also got at least another billion in free advertising from his fawning media, but we all know that.
We’ll shortly be hearing the lamentations of the SRM, as they weep and gnash their teeth about “the need to get the money out of politics” and how “the Republicans want to buy the election.”

Wouldn't you like to know where Trump stands on the issues. He's good a bashing Zero on foreign policy and slamming the Chicoms. Where does he stand on guns, abortion, budget and the like. He's a pompous easterner who will not connect with Joe lunchbox in Fort Wayne.

Trump has already said that if he didn't get the Republican nomination he wouldn't go 3rd party.

This is workable, the guy is conservative enough for me at least and I have the feeling he could win. At least he would not lose for lack of adequate funding and if it was his own money being spent, we could count on him not THROWING an election the way John the “Maverick(TM)” McCain did two years ago.

To: Kartographer
A 3 way divide is the only way Obama can win at this point.
