As Scotty might say: "She canna take much more, Captain! If the strain keeps up, the Party's gonna be ripped apart!"
And the RINOs can go join up with the Dingles and the Schmucky Schumers and the Conyers and have their own state with single-payer deathcare.

This is a really tough issue. The left has gotten this country into the mess we're in by never letting the perfect (in their minds) be the enemy of the good. Us conservatives would have loved nothing better than to have had ObamaCare sunk by lefty holdouts demanding a public option, but they compromised, and the country moved further left as a result.
The deficit issue is really tough, because we only control one House right now, and getting the Presidency and the other house in 2012 is of paramount importance. So we need to cut the deficit as much as possible while maximizing our odds on getting enough power to make big changes. I honestly don't know which side is right on this because it is more a tactical/strategic issue than one based just on principle.

If you’re a Republican officeholder and your running to Politico to complain, then you need to seriously re-examine your political instincts.

AWWW are they “tired”! Maybe in 2012 we can put then down for nappy time! FU RINOS!

I mean, this is three weeks; were cutting $6 billion. You know? It is surprising. This is the only time in my life where I can cut $6 billion in a three-week period and be called a liberal.
Wrong perspective; how much are you spending? $6 Billion might have been real money in 1999. Today it’s chump change when the monthly gap is $228 billion. You’ve only got $220 billion more in cuts in the next three week period just to break even.

Professional politicians are growing weary of little people trying to influence business as usual.
How the heck can these people get rich if they aren’t throwing money in the direction of supporters?!

Idaho Rep. Mike Simpson said of the difficulty convincing hard-liners that the leadership is cutting large amounts of spending. I mean, this is three weeks; were cutting $6 billion.
They don’t want it 3 weeks at a time, finish the CR for the year, get 61 Bil out and cut that 105 Bil in Obama Care. That is what the 2010 elections told you to do. Do it or quit.
