I’ve seen this bumped above a level 4 in many places. But the same level as Chernobyl? Perhaps the scale needs to be revised. Unless there is a permanent 30km exclusion zone for the rest of our generation, I don’t see how it can be on the same scale as Chernobyl.

My advice for you and your family, do not let your politics get in the way of your integrity. The left is not always wrong. Granted I would rate them at 80-90 % incorrect. That does leave about a 10-20 % chance that they got this one right.
