If I am watching my House Proceedings correctly, I believe the CR (H.J 48) has passed the House.
No one seriously thinks it will stall in the Senate.
A lot of Republicans (44+) voted Nay. THAT IS A SIGNAL!!!
NO MORE CR's!!!!
I AGREE !! the RNC/DNC Coalition of Corruption must be STOPPED DEAD IN IT’S DESPICABLE TRACKS ! NOW !!
No more CR’s !! no more QE’s ! budget OUR money like it is is your own for crying out loud !
No more raising the debt ceiling !
PERIOD.. any RINO voting YES on CR or QE must be defeated in 2012 !
“Tea Party” in the singular form = GOP
I support the INDEPENDENT TEA PARTIES.. PLURAL.. SMALL LOCAL INDEPENDENT TEA PARTIES are our only hope for the tea party agenda not some quazi GOP “subsect” calling themselves THE “tea party”
I understand your frustration, but it doesn’t quite work like that. On the Hill, people give people a little breathing room to get their crap in a row. Well, NORMALLY. When Pelosi has the reins ALL bets are off, but when *humans* have the reins, we cut a little room to get busy.
How are we to verify these are real reductions in actual spending or simply the old “less of an increase” budget cuts that both parties have used to pull the wool over the eyes of the “sheeple” for oh, so long now?
Daily Caller says 54 Republicans voted no:
“The conservative wing of the Republican House caucus took a swipe at GOP leadership Tuesday, with 54 GOP members voting against the House bill to fund the government for three more weeks...
The bill, which passed 271-158, cuts about $6 billion from the federal budget and will move onto the Senate, where it is also likely to pass, despite conservative opposition in that chamber as well.”
I’m not ok with it.
The dems could have taken care of the budget before the Nov election. They want to be able to blame the Republicans for shutting down the govt.
Bunch of cowards. The women have more spine!

However, our guys can't come in and just whip out billy clubs and change the procedure to fisticuff duels, right?
You have to work SOMEwhat within established order and custom. We Tea Partiers are a big enough shock to DC already!
Like I told others, have patience with this CR. The big battle comes in three weeks, and THAT is the one to get upset about (if anyone folds).
The “breathing room” has been given far too much for far too long.. which has brought us to the 15 TRILLION dollar debt ceiling.. Go help them AND US if they raise the debt ceiling by a single DIME !! which is exactly what they are doing CR after CR after CR !! enough alrady cut spending Now !! Do a budget based on what you HAVE not on what you wish you had !!! just like every single one of us has to do every single month !
Buying time and power for Obama.
Bankrupting America, morally and financially.
Here is who did what, for future reference...

May God give us strength, and give comfort to the people of Japan.

** CORRECTION ** GOD HELP THEM AND US !!
Ander Crenshaw who I will not vote for again. Need to find better candidates for the next election!

See, now that just makes me freakin' smile. They only expected TWENTY FOUR defections. They got nearly 2.5 times that number!
Boehner and Cantor have been SERVED.
THE BIG BATTLE HAPPENS IN THREE WEEKS. WE (The Tea Partiers) HAVE JUST INSTRUCTED THEM (The House Leadership) TO MARCH TO THE GUNS.

Grrr.
Saw Kingston Saturday, and should have known, because he talked about all kinds of things , but not this. Our mistake was thinking his vote no, was a given. He is usually very reliable, but every once in a while he loses the trail.
Losing it today is stunning, and sadly, only points to benefiting him with the party “leadership”.
Sigh.
I’d be real wary of that particular guy, if he flopped THAT bad. Maybe he needs to hear from ya. :)
BTTT
Well, I see BoehnerCare is alive and well! Thank you swervatives! Or. should that be libatives!
I'm sorry but I remember during the lame duck session that the Repubs assured us that once they took office this crap was over. I didn't know that they meant over and over and over.
Divide the Repub House members up by gender and tell all of the males to get in back and follow and let the females lead. They have much more courage than the nancy boys.
