Good point. Many of the areas that were decimated are farming communities. There's a chance that the animal population outnumbered the humans in those areas.
The Japanese authorities going to have to make some hard choices about this issue very soon.
I just listend to Megyn Kelly interview an American who lives in Japan but took his family to Singapore out of concern. He was saying that when Japanese government officials and/or TEPCO employees go on camera to give updates that they sometimes have tears in their eyes and will hardly look at the camera. It’s understandably scaring the Japanese people.
