Not a clunker, but my V-10 F-350 gets 8-12 mpg.

But then I have to haul along firearms and ammo, so I don't fly.

They must have used obsolete or worn-out transistors in his brain when they put him together in Dr. Frankenstein’s laboratory.

My 1969 Mercury Marquis (429 c.i.d.) used to get me 15 mpg on the highway. I could drive from Tampa to Tallahassee (~ 330 miles) on one 20 gal. tank with a bit to spare.

I heard him say 8-10 mpg and laughed to myself. Yeah, back in the early 80’s we drove a used Oldsmobile V-8 that got mileage near that. You could sit at a light and watch the fuel indicator tick down. And then there was that used Cadillac I drove in college in the 70’s...but other than those two cars, I can’t remember a car getting that low mileage. Obviously he’s not “in touch” with car mileage.

more comments showing obama is a patronizng no-nothing elitist axxhole

Note to jug ears:

My 1997 clunker SUV (V-8) gets 16 MPG and my 1999 SUV clunker gets 18-20 mpg, and my entire family burns less gas in 10 years than when you and Moochelle fly in your personal trainer weekly from Chicago and send your family dog to Maine on his own private jet

Eight to 10 mpg? Which clunker would that be? I wondered.

I wonder too. Even my 4x4 crew-cab pickup (V-8, auto), gets about 15 around town and 20 to 22 on the highway.

My "few years old" commuter car gets 33 mpg. Sure, it's a little 4 cyl 5 speed stick. It is just plain fun to drive - can't call it a clunker. BTW, Goodyear Eagle GTs really grip, highly recommended to anyone looking for tires. It's like a whole new car with these on it now. (and no, I haven't gotten a ticket - yet)

Got a 2000 Chev 3500 15 passenger van for the Fam, with a 7.4 Vortec. One of the heaviest family vehicles on the road. Smooth ride.

It gets 16 mpg.

Obama rides in an up-armored Lincoln Town Car. The thing probably weighs 4 tons and probably does get 8 mpg.

When he lived in Chicago, he rode a bike with under-inflated tires. I know this because I’ve seen the pics.

“And yet he is behind the wheel of Washington’s energy policy.”

Every statement “O” makes is proof positive of just HOW disconnected he always was, is and continues to be from Americans and American life. Depend on it, the American national character is an ‘unknown’ and an alien concept to “O”.

We now have in the WH, an utterly disaffected, marginalized and unmistakably anti-American President who could not be more badly informed of and antagonistic to American values and interests.

In my lifetime, I hope never again to see American voters as easily led to accept a Presidential candidate SO patently and obviously unfit.

"You may want to buy a fuel-efficient car," quoth obama, "but you may not be able to afford it. And so you're stuck with the old clunker that's getting 8 or 10 miles a gallon."

I guess that's hussein obama admitting "cash for clunkers" was a failure. (we knew that already) I thought C4C was supposed to allow all the "po folk" to get rid of said clunkers. Guess it was really what we knew it was all along - more ill-considered wasteful spending by hussein obama and the Democrats.

Supposedly, King Barry drove a Chrysler 300 and then traded it for a more politically correct Escape Hybrid when he got in the race for the pres__ency.

Everything he says or does is politically motivated, even when he says or does something stupid.

My first car when I turned 16 was the old family station wagon that had a 454 engine. It had the worst gas mileage of anything I have ever driven and even it probably pushed 15mpg average driving normally.

If you stood on the gas pedal though, you could actually hear money being deposited into banks in OPEC countries.

Have Obamadolph explain why when cars were getting half of today’s mpg’s, it was still cheaper to get where you were going . . .

I wonder if this audio/video clip will make utube somewhere or fall down the memory hole. It could be quite entertaining to show to ‘friends’ who like to go on and on about how dumb their favorite conservative strawman is...
