My early years in the AF was as a Weapons Controller or Ground Control Intercept Operator. Tyndall was my first assignment (temporary duty) for school. We were all 2/Lt and were taught how use a plastic protractor and grease pencil to intercept unknown or enemy aircraft. The R/T calls were very exact and you had to learn every word, when to make the call and what was expected from the pilot. I was there in the Winter and Panama City was very dreary. The paper mill added an element as well. I lived on post and after a few weeks was asking myself what I had gotten into. After school moved to Eglin a short distance down the road at Fort Walton Beach. Got there in Summer and things became much better.

Good morning and ((HUGS)) EG. Found out my new computer is in and just in time...I’m ready to toss this one out the window. It’s sad...this computer was good enough until all the new applications/browers/upgrades, etc. out-distanced my operating system. Sometimes I want to toss out all technology. Help me to stay sane.
Ok, no meltdown.
howz it out your way?

((LOL))
Well, we went below freezing last night. Some frost on the windshields. Forecast to hit 70 later today.
Went ahead and put the AC's in. My brother from Texas and his family are coming up to visit me later this week. They're going to stay for a couple of days.
I'm planning on taking Bo out to the lake later today. He is due for his annual rabies shots soon.
Not much else is going on.

LOL.
I had to ask cause 39 wouldn’t be too chilly for a morning temps and 60s is spring weather on the right coast.
I used to tease my son when he lived in Florida until I went there and after a day of hot I had to wear a sweater when temps went into the high 60s/low 70s (with wind blowing all the time).

***I still have to get the IT guy to transfer everything from this computer to the new one.***
BACK IT UP FIRST!!. Use a CD, DVR or memory stick. I depended on the IT people to safely transfer my data. They did, but lost it when it was coming back to my new system.
I had it backed up on another server too. I can see my files, but somehow they locked that server and now they cannot unlock it.
