I predict that gov’t “analysts” will pull that 7.7% unemployment number out of their butts by November 2012 to help Obama win re-election.

Let people decide if those stats are cooked. If a person is unemployed then they will decide with their wallet.

When you don’t count people who can’t find work and give up, you can make the rate about as low as you want.
The numbers are lies.
But WHERE will those jobs be? The Left wing Blue States?
Michigan?
New York?
California?
Massachusetts?
Nope!
Texas and other Red States will be gaining.
I was thinking the same thing.
And gas will be 1.50 a gallon also.

Either they will fix the numbers to give the White House what it wants, or unemployment will unexpectantly still be above 8%.
Reminds me of the live interview in 2006 of financial analysts, including Peter Schiff regarding the drop in house prices. Peter said this was the popping of the bubble. The rest said it was a temporary blip and everything was looking good. When He made his case, they LAUGHED AT HIM on live television. He was right.
I never forgot that the people of King County voted to have the Kingdome built by SouthCenter, but they built it in Seattle instead (it was used for a couple of decades and torn down a few years ago.
Same with “financial experts”.
I ignore them. They don’t have a clue what they are talking about.
As the world explodes and implodes around me I look at TV and am told just move along....Nahhh. Are things really so desperate? THE UNEMPLOYMENT RATE SCAM is to try and save the crat party and is an obvious book cook.
This is the EXPECTED that later becomes the UNEXPECTED.
Most people don’t believe the unemployment numbers now, nor do they believe that the recession ended nearly two years ago.

Another thing - the “stimulous” was mainly used to keep public workers on the payrolls. Now Republican governors all over the country are cutting those rolls which could drive the unemployment rate way up.
I predict BO’s golf game will be much better in 2012.
