Democratic Sen. John Kerry (Mass.) will introduce bipartisan legislation later this week to create a federal infrastructure bank to fund major projects around the nation, an aide told The Hill.
Kerry has at least one Republican senator backing the initiative the American Infrastructure Financing Authority that will initially cost about $10 billion and provide loans and loan guarantees for large, much-needed infrastructure projects.

Put the words together and in progressive commiecrat media language they mean BS and more wasted stimulus that will AGAIN make it look like the money is going to banks/highways and all's we will get is NOTHING! A slush fund to pay off some one or save a field mouse for Pelosi. They had they're chance with the reinvestment vote for idiot Obama he did this crappy expensive signs.
Groan.
That's how this nation got in this mess.
Creative financing.
Since the dems last scam they have to use the word, bipartisan to sneak in more garbage.
This symbol,Obama's fake green signs and some union/ AIG thanks for donating-campaign payoff is all they got AND WE PAID FOR in the last stimulus...
“Infrastructure” has become the new code word
for union only road construction bills. Buying
more union votes with money from the taxpayers.
Just say NO!
This is how Nelson Rockefeller destroyed New York State....keep creating quasi-governmental “authorities” that have the power to keep borrowing and spending money no matter who gets elected.
Don’t think so...she’s worried about being primaried..
Wasn’t that what the stim was for? Where did it go, down the same rathole this new money will go? Looks like a potential Freddy/Franny
Who is the Republican? Not Thune I hope.
No, I believe... in the article Thune speaks out against this.
I saw one of those signs down at a lighthouse on the Outer Banks, NC. They were trying to restore the one at Bodie Island. Our governor Perdue is in the pocket of Obama.
I have come to the conclusion that any legislation proposed by Democrats should be immediately squashed with no discussion or consideration.
And I think that is a completely reliable form of governance if past legislation is any indicator.
How dare you! Kerry served in Vietnam! ROFL
More Big Digs John F’ing Kerry ?
Please! It's gov't - it'll cost double. Why can't these @#$% CUT? Why do they always ADD?
Come to think of it, no wonder Kerry doesn’t have a smidgeon understanding of banking functions.
All he ever did was to ask his personal bank (Teh-RAY-Sa) for yet another check.
Not surprising that he thinks either money grows on trees or comes from an endless well.
/And don’t even get me starting on his serving in Nam.....
