I'm really sorry Scanian, but I do not see how joining the worthless debate club, aka the US Senate, would be a good step, let alone first step. IMO he would be going backwards after a brilliant career in our Military.

Sadly no, I do not live in FL, but I did support his Congressional campaign. I have already e-mailed him imploring him to run for President in 2012. We as a country NEED him with his courage and strength if we are ever to turn this ship known as America around and back on a safe course.

.Affirmative Action hits the military.

This is nothing new. When I was in pilot training over 20 years ago, women and minorities got passes in circumstances that would end a white male's quest for wings.

A run for Prez in 2012 is too quick out of the box for West.

I don’t think the voters would want another candidate with short legislative experience, no matter how stellar.

The thing with the Senate beingthe way it is is that it is CRYING for about 10 more members like West.

Jim DeMint is tired of having so few friends over there.

We’ve got an affirmative action president so I guess this was to be expected.

Absolutely ... no qualifications whatsoever to become POTUS and CIC of the Armed Forces. A Nobel Prize for what?
Next on the agenda in the military you don't get promoted for merit, the standard is lowered (RE: Dayton Ohio police and fireman qualifying exams) and if you're a minority you are pushed forward. After all, minorities may not always test well, therefore that must be taken into consideration.

Allen West is going to bat for our men in Leavenworth.

I guess the head-bobbers and the carpet munchers need some promotions.

I’d post the CINC with the saudi king, showing them how it’s done, but the mods would blast me.

I hope not. I remember the “McNamara 100,000”.

...created by the Pelosi-Reid Congress in 2009.

We can't afford any more rat Congresses for too many reasons.

Yet, according to the 2010 census, whites account for nearly 75 percent of the population, and blacks 12.4 percent, while Latinos can fall into either category. The "problem" seems minor.

Mindless Push for 'Diversity' in the Military Won't Win Wars
