My son had to do a bit of catching up at work through the weekend and I had to return some calls from the mainland so nobody came to visit.....except some vandals who slashed the side panels on my Jeep. What once was looking a little brighter, turned once again.

I had to recalculate my calls to family....not a deal, just a nuisance....but when I went out to head for the store, I found a bigger nuisance and now I have to deal with that in the morning.

We live in interesting times.

Good evening, Sand...((HUGS)...did you get mugged this weekend? I spent several hours with my Dad on his income taxes and he’s come back so far that it went smooth as silk. It looks like they don’t even have to file. We read all sorts of stuff and filled out Worksheets to find out if their SS is taxable. It doesn’t seem to be. They DO NOT make their forms easy to comprehend. BUT...he never had any setbacks at all. YIPPEE!!

Reporting in late to the Canteen.

Weekend was uneventful, more rain here but warmer temps.

Yes, Zach is really enjoying J.R.O.T.C., I see a future Soldier/Marine in him, but he'll have to make that decision on his own. He and Mrs. Pro will be coming here in 2 weeks when Zach has Spring break; one of his good friends will be playing a highschool baseball game here we will attend, and the beloved OSU baseball team will be playing in town too, so fun awaits!

It's been so rainy that even though our school district baseball and softball teams kick-off their games tomorrow, we haven't been able to mow and paint the fields, but I thinks the games will be cancelled anyway.

Are you over your snow yet, how's almost Spring looking?

Usually you work at getting back to a “normal” life after such a huge tragedy, but this one keeps going and going.
