Japanese nuclear-power crisis averted at second plant Good. So, despite what was pretty much the worst-case scenario for natural disasters, nuclear energy is proving to be relatively safe or at least manageable in the face of said disasters.

Technically the Tokai plant would have been the Third plant that has experienced reactor cooling problems. And the total number of reactors affected with cooling problems during this catastrophe now stands at 7.
Fukushima Daiichi (3)
Fukushima Daini (3)
Tokai Daini (1)
Wonder if they also vented steam from the Tokai reactor ?
