Obama, Daniels score laughs at Gridiron Dinner (0 to Boss: Play "Born in the U.S.A")

President Obama used his first appearance at the annual Gridiron Club Dinner as POTUS to push home an already labored point — with a little help from The Boss.

Taking the stage to give the evening's closing remarks, the president looked toward the live band at the back of the room and asked, "Can we go with the song we talked about?"

"Born in the U.S.A," belted out Bruce Springsteen, drawing big laughs from the some 650 government officials, political figures, news executives and journalists in gathered at the Washington Renaissance hotel for the club's 126th anniversary.

Obama, just the sight/sound of his name makes me feel as if I’m being flayed alive. As is every single American. I really loathe him and his pals. On a side note: CNN has had lengthy coverage of the Japan earthquake/tsunami, and I noticed they interviewed a reporter from the WSJ and one from The Economist. Nobody from the NYTimes or the WashPost. The weatherman was articulate and well informed, and nobody mentioned Zero. Not once. Interesting. But no doubt this behavior is a mere blip. Then back to Obamahackdom.

Sickening ...

http://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2011/03/13/Obama-attends-Gridiron-Club-dinner/UPI-18281300019503/

A Gridiron skit featured a fake Boehner singing the classic Lesley Gore hit “It’s My Party,” but with words adapted to the occasion.

“I’m try’n to show them so leadership here / some gravitas and some guts / how did I end up in bed / with all these Tea Party nuts?” the adapted lyrics went.

(snip)

The president also got the last laugh of the night, Politico reported.

Obama told the journalists, “The bar will be open until midnight and I hope the government will be, too.”

The cretin in just taunting a good portion of Americans. What a sad excuse for a human being.

It seems Gov Mitch Daniels enjoyed himself with his stupid remark about Sarah Palin. So we have a Katie Couric style conservative enjoying the Palin jokes with Obama. How sickening. RINO alert!

Now now, be kind. O did send Carney out to decry the slaughter of the Israeli family.

Of course, he was playing golf at the time but well, after all, who could begrudge this hardworking president an hour of golf.

Big surprise that you can find 650 pols, media scum, and bureaucrats who don't care about the Constitution.
