Context: A standard Safeway in an upper-middle class East Bay suburb of San Francisco, 8:30 PM PST.
I just got home from the grocery store where I went to get a few items for my wife (vegetables, chicken) etc. and was getting my retired Dad a gift card so he can make ends meet. He is not doing well and living on Social Security and a part-time job, and I know he needs the money for food (and dog food).
I was going through the self-check out but there was a sign "no gift cards" so I went back into the regular line.
There were two women, both about 5' tall and only spoke Spanish, they had 5 children, all under 5 years old and they were chatting and screaming, normal kid stuff.
They had a full basket, and when they were done, pulled out WIC (Food Stamp) cards and charged over $200 on it. The card didn't take the first time, they had to remove items, etc. but finally, the Latino family left the grocery store.
I only had a few items, including my father's gift card, so I came out right as one of them drove up in a late model Ford Expedition with the shiny flashy rims. There were 5 car seats and some kind of Spanish music coming out of the speakers.
I bust my ass to feed my family, pay taxes and keep my family above water...who the hell takes my tax dollars to give to these illegal invaders and their spawn?
I was so angry thinking of my Dad back East clipping coupons while these 3rd Worlders steal every week from the US taxpayer.

You know they have conquered America. Or at least the southern part of it, not much a person can do about it you know. I saw it many years ago and moved to Alaska, and now I am becoming an Australian citizen.
Being close to a retirement age the land of Oz is a far better place to be. At least they fight back against illegal immigrants.
I will still call Alaska home but only in the summer, maybe.

I overheard a very young grandmother bragging about one of her granddaughters receiving over $2,000 a MONTH from the government and a grandson who gets a “crazy check”! I wanted to PUKE!
My son is autistic, the state owns him and is forcing me to pay over $600 a month in foster home fees. I cannot escape from them, I agree my son needs help but I have had enough, I have seen absolutely no promises that their will be a change for the better either locally as far as employment, I see nothing encouraging about taking a stand against the invasion of America.
And though I personally own enough stuff that cannot be described as it “fell out of the boat” to what purpose?
What are you going to do? Act like Moslems shooting the air 24/7? Thats about all you can do unless you go totally postal. Too many people talk about what good is a handgun against an army, well that talk has gotten old, its not being led by anyone, no future leadership is stepping forward.
So sayonara America, good luck, who knows maybe gas will be cheaper in Australia. The land of Oz WANTS skilled workers, and I have certain skills that are very much desirable.
The vehicle is purchased in someone else’s name, say the wife or husband and they share the vehicle.
Then there is the Social Security scam where they have multiple SS#’s and make their purchases using fraudulent numbers.
You may even be elected to public office with a reinvented background like that.

How do we know they are illegal? The kids are not spawn but American citizens. We have had a ton of Republican administrations who could have done something about this and have not. I blame every President with this mess.

Nearly all immigration into the USA should be halted immediately and for an indefinite period of time.
Any and all illegals must be deported immediately.
Automatically, the country is better off.
I am counting on Sarah to do this when she is elected in 2012. I am expecting a lot from her. She is the one to do this so my hope is that she gets in there and changes a lot of what is wrong with America.

Our neighbor finally got a job in sales. The first week he was finally working his wife brought over some left-over steak and lobster. I said “Wow - celebrating his new job huh?” (And thinking I’d be a bit more conservative after only the first week.)
She said - “No, we’ll be off of the Food Stamps next week so figured we better enjoy the last of it while we can”.
I swear wac3rd, I could have written this post myself about 2 weeks ago...
I went to our local Food Lion...store wasn’t busy so there was only one register open...I had 3 or 4 items and got behind a young woman with 2 little boys and what I’m assuming was her mother...the belt was already loaded up with items that filled the grocery buggy after it all was rung up...I wasn’t paying attention to hear what the total came to, but did after I saw the Food Stamps and WIC vouchers pulled out...didn’t cost the woman one penny for all that...she then proceeds to tell the cashier she needs two cases of baby formula...the cashier calls another employee over to go get that out of the office...the formula is kept under lock and key because of high theft volume...two cases of formula gets rung up...$122 and change...again, two more WIC vouchers...behind the formula she still has some candy bars/soda/a box of Monistat 7...she pulls out a $100 to pay for that...WTH??
But the real kick in the pants was after I checked out my couple of items and go to the parking lot...the 4 of them are packing their purchases into their vehicle...a brand new Chevy Suburban...I am sooooooooo over this mess!
Not at all uncommon to see WIC users get into $45,000 trucks down here in So Cal.
We pay for the vote buys to keep the DNC in power.

The same mechanism that our DemonRAT politicians use to buy votes from the electorate is the same mechanism that corrupt interest groups use to buy politicians. All of it is with our hard earned tax dollars.
This thread started my sunday off on the wrong foot.
I’ve got a friend who lives in Brooklyn. She saw a group of Chinese immigrants, who spoke absolutely NO English, and there was a NYC government van and worker there, signing them up for benefits. They had signs up saying “Sign up now, no need to be a citizen.”
We are committing suicide....

How do you become an Oz citizen? I know a woman whose brother became one, but only because he married an Aussie...I though there was almost no way for a non-Muslim refugee to become an Oz citizen.

Ain’t America great? I see it everyday with all the “free” medical care our country gives away to almost everbody BUT US citizens
I have researched it, first off I travel on a regular US passport, just like a tourist, I am allowed 3 months down there, I am not allowed typically to work, I have skills concerning concrete batching facilities plus I have been driving concrete mixers for over 15 years, and I am a diesel mechanic.
I am 54. My choice is to get a sponsor, a business to sponsor me to become a skilled immigrant, my CDL is observed there, of course things tend to be opposite and more so than most believe, like the “agitator” mixer trucks have to rotate the drums in the opposite direction.
After I get a sponsor by my efforts of just approaching a business and selling myself then that also opens the door for me to move any personal belongings.
Mining is booming, unemployment is only 6.7 percent.
And they don’t exactly welcome Moslems as much as people think, first off Islam considers Oz not the same as the US, to them America is the country that could wipe them off the face of the earth, America is the country that could if pushed hard enough perform very drastic cleansing efforts against Islam.
So yes Oz is a bit more tolerant but then again the population density is totally different, 20 million there against 300 million in the US.
i’m guessing they resell the food, and live in a house with about a dozen more so the overhead is minimal. that gives them the cash for the pimp-out rides. weird values.
