On CBS Evening News, congressional correspondent Nancy Cordes implied that the House Homeland Security Committee hearing on the radicalization of American Muslims was simply a political show staged by chairman Peter King. She declared that "King's own past assertion that most U.S. mosques are run by radicals" resulted in "poisoning the hearing." She praised the emotional testimony of Rep. Keith Ellison. [Keith "the Muslim from Minnesota" Ellison took his oath of office on the koran and once wrote an article defending Louis Farrakhan against charges of anti-Semitism. He admits to close ties and collaboration with the Nation of Islam. In 2006, the Minnesota State Campaign Finance and Public Disclosure Board subpoenaed and fined him for late and improper filings.]

As Bernie Goldberg said, when you’re in the proverbial hole you don’t keep digging. But that’s the race to the bottom that CBS and its cable cousins CNN and MSNBC are in!
Nancy should be made to wear the hijab under penalty.
Then we’ll see who’s talkin’!
Right, but it’s still fun to watch the liberal shills for Islam squirm when they’re forced to hear the truth!
Exactly. And doesn’t it make you feel safe and secure that we’re relying on the likes of Obama, Napolitano and Holder to prevent that?
Saw a replay of it, total crap, and as someone above said, did he cry for all the non-muslim first responders who died on 9/11..or any of the 343 firefighters??
Nice to see the CBS congressional correspondent hiding her liberal bias so well./s
Right - when I watched the hearings I was appalled by some of the “reasoning” some of Democrats demonstrated. Yes, I’m a conservative partisan but it goes far beyond my bias. We used to have some intelligent liberals who were strong on national security. Men like Henry “scoop” Jackson come to mind. Or Joe Lieberman who was driven out of his party recently for holding those views. We may have disagreed with such on domestic politics but they were patriotic Americans. Today, on the other hand, we see liberals with NO ABILITY. It was shocking to hear some of the infantile rhetoric that they were mouthing. To me, such ignorance of the serious domestic Islamic threat we face by some elected federal representatives borders on criminal negligence.
Or put another way, a moderate Muslim is one who will meet you half way. If he sees you drowning twenty feet from land, he’ll toss you a ten foot rope.
“I am a Christian and they want me dead.”
Is it all right if I borrow that for my tagline? I’ll trade you that for these:
“O Muslim! My bullets are dipped in pig grease!”
“Destroy Mecca and you kill Allah!”
“I’m a free man, O Muslim! There’s nothing you can do about it!”
Anyway, Rep. King is over the target and taking flak. What’s next, are they going to bring on some weeping hijabi Muslimahs wailing, “I am victimized because of the way I dress! Why are you doing this to us!!?”
In fact, count on it.
That must have been a show to remember: a black Muslim with a white atheistic religion-hater who is the son of a Jewish mother! It must have been frustrating for both of them! For whom could they express their natural hatreds without possibly causing some offense? Surely, they agreed to focus their venom and animosity and demonize some “other.” Maybe George Bush would have been the prefect target! Am I close?
Hey Nancy Cordes: Don’t forget, sweetie, they want to kill your ass too.
Actually, it’s around two billion of us. Which, if even a small number of us decide to go all Crusade on their a**es, makes the whole proposition of a global Caliphate sort of “iffy”. I think I’d look rather spiffy in a tunic and cross. You can tell by my name that I like swords, but those college era Kendo classes need refreshing. May have to use something more modern and noisy instead.
This administration and mass media is the most treasonous thing I’ve ever witnessed; the sad thing is that I know I have not seen seen the worst of it yet.

I’d like everyone in America to have a bumper sticker of this. About time folks take their heads out of the sand and notice what may be going on.
