we heard several sonic booms over melbourne florida on 3/11/11 around 9pm , curious to know if anyone else heard them ?
Days from 9/1/2001 to 3/11/2011 = 3,478.
Total of the numbers 3 4 7 8 = 22
Number of hijackers Bin Laden initially wanted to attack America = 22.
Calling the Pentagon now.
Do you play drums a lot?
Sorry about that, Chief. I've got a lead foot.
All quiet in Minnesota. More snow this morning.
“Hearing booms in your head is a indication of Tinnitus.
Do you play drums a lot? “
I play steel guitar. Always had to sit in front of the drummer, one side or the other. Always had a ride cymbal goin’. Can’t hear squat! The ringing is much louder than people talk! I declare a fatwa on all drummers
I’m just posting to say that I am much too classy to actually make a breakfast burrito joke...it wouldn’t sound right coming from me...it would be beneath me...
No worries, just some HAARP shenanigans. .5 /s
BTW-are you familiar with my favorite drummer joke?:
How do you know that there’s a drummer at your door?—
The knocking speeds up.
How do you know when the stage is level?
When the drool comes out of both sides of the drummer’s mouth!
How many chick singers does it take to sing “Crazy”?
Apparently all of them!
As an old flight test type, my humble try:
The T-38s at the cape must undergo a functional flight check each time major flight components are worked on. This check includes a supersonic run. I would imagine that the supersonic flight corridor for Patrick AFB is somewhere just off the coast. Methinks that the atmospheric conditions that day allowed the boom to be heard.
The test pilot must log position and time of each supersonic run and these logs should be avail via base ops.

was absoltely brilliant!
“How many chick singers does it take to sing Crazy?”
And they always wanna sing in some odd key, not guitar friendly. I’d ask “What key?” She’d say “A flat” I’d turn around and whisper to the band, “G.” The girls never noticed! Of course I was the guy that got the band to add an extra beat to the guitar solo in “Achy Breaky Heart,” so we could watch the line dancers collide with one another. Hilarious to watch their total confusion!
THIS IS HUGH.
Obama playing Golf?
This last Summer we heard two sonic booms about two seconds apart here in western Washington. Found out later that because Obama was in Seattle, they maintained a protected air space over the city, in which a private plane entered. Two fighters scrabbled up from Portland Oregon.

scrabbled = scrambled
re: My call to the Pentagon. I thought I had their attention until the polite Officer informed me that they call it 911 because the attack was ON 9/11/2001, not 9/1/2001 .... back to the drawing board.....I just KNOW there is a secret message with this...someplace...
Sonic boom-like sounds are not unusual along the East Coast. We have them in Northern Virginia fairly regularly ~ they come mostly from small very localized earthquakes. This last October we had one big enough to crack pavement in fact. We had some in December and February as well but they didn’t break anything.

curious to know if anyone else heard them ?
Didn’t hear a one.............
