That's a nice business you got there. Pity if anything were to happen to it if, say, you didn't toe the line and denounce Governor Walker like we're asking nice-like.
"In the event that you cannot support this effort to save collective bargaining, please be advised that the undersigned will publicly and formally boycott the goods and services provided by your company."
Wisconsin Professional Police Association, Jim Palmer, at 608.273.3840.
The irony of this is that M & I was a failing bank and was acquired by Harris Bank of Canada. Threatening a Canadian bank? Not cool.
This frantic kabuki dance of the aging unions has almost become a parody of itself.
Sounds like a true professional, commie thug union boss, and close friend of trumka and stern.
On Monday morning, the Wisconsin legislature should vote on and pass UNFETTERED conceal & carry.
And every Tea Party and Republican group in the state should schedule “events” at the boycotted businesses.
Period.
So we have a policeman involved in a boycott.
I have to then assume that the police will now have lists of ‘friendly’ and ‘unfriendly’ businesses. And if you call the police to report a crime in progress (or a burglar alarm goes off), the cop assigned my make take a break at the doughnut shop prior to responding...if I ran a business, that’s EXACTLY what I would be thinking from that letter.
Seems to me that this COP needs to be FIRED immediately, and possibly brought up on charges.
And having policemen attach their names to threats of this type should be brought to the governor’s attention...and action taken.

Thank you Mr. Palmer for proving my point.
I loathe unionism.
And those who support unionism I call communionists.
That said...
the company I work for has become so abusive of its employees (knowing that there are no competitive alternatives in the area for the employees to seek) that I have half a mind to call the union in for a vote just to shake up management.
This is so stewpid — it’s going on right under the glare of spotlights — that it is beyond words.
Poxes on both their houses
Even if not a cop...if the police (or fire department) is involved in this crap, they have to brought up on charges. It’s basically a breakdown of society if they openly choose favorites.
Mr Palmer, you steaming pile of union horse dung posing as a police officer... go reproduce yourself.
So the unions are resorting to threats against the very taxpayers that are paying their salaries? First death threats against the legislators and now threats against businesses? What is next, door to door “donations” to the union or broken windows and vandalism? Every single day the unions are demonstrating why they should be completely disolved.
“I agree 100%. Extortion is extortion no matter if it’s Al Capone, a cop or a lawyer/lobbyist doing it. “
I actually consider it much worse when cops do it. At least with Capone, you could call the cops on him (assuming he didn’t own the cops...which is my point). In this case, you won’t even really know what they’re doing to you.
That’s the way I look at it.
If I bring them in, I won’t be staying any longer than it takes to find another job (which I’m already seeking but the options are few).
Let them spend their lives in a dismal, mutually destructive tangle.
I’d suggest — Don’t go away mad from the company, just go away. Your life is too short to ignite brush fires.
Less than 10 percent of all workers are union. Go ahead, boycott.
