I heard that too but I heard and read that our Govt is actually seeking middles easterners to come to this country .

We’ve got combatants from all sides of the Balkan conflicts living here too.
I dated a Serbian sociologist for a while and as part of her work on her thesis she interviewed war criminals from all sides in American prisons and living here free. Those in prison will likely stay if released.
