The alleged gang rape of an 11-year-old girl by at least 18 boys and young men has sparked shame and outrage in a tiny Texas town, but it has also stirred racial tensions that threaten to split the East Texas hamlet...
The rape allegedly occurred last November, and the list of suspects has been growing as arrests keep coming. It's not clear whether more arrests are in the works.
The suspects range in age from 14 to 26, include stars on the high school's basketball team as well as the son of a school board member...
"Every adult male that had sex with this child should go to prison, I don't care what the color is. But I do not believe black males are the only ones that had contact with this young child," said Quanell X, the leader of Houston's New Black Panther Party. "It appears to me there's only been the selective prosecution of one community, which is African American." ...
In addition, Cleveland is embroiled in a political scandal where three city council members are facing a recall election following complaints of corruption. All three of those city council members are African American....
Cleveland police began investigating the rape in December of last year after cell phone video showing the alleged sex attack started circulating among students at Cleveland schools, according to court documents. The video shows the girl engaged in sexual acts with several men.

“She probably couldnt tell you why she got into the car with them.”
I know, truly know, what you mean.
It is just that I’m thankful she is alive, not dead, and can hopefully come to the realization that — no matter the physical degradation, physical abuse and hurt, her soul can overcome whatever pain she has endured.
What answer are you looking for here and why do you ask? Is it somehow worse if she is white?
Probably wants to know the race of the victim...
Probably a bit surprised that the story is being reported, if she was...
Probably aware of the media’s notorious PC efforts to downplay/hide/ignore black on white crime...
Probably...Oh nevermind...
Quannnel XLax is well known race baiter that exploits racial tension for his own gain. In these parts, he’s more of a joke than an concern.
For my part, I understood why you were asking.
It is clear this was not only a satanic, all should-be-fried crime for all perps here (I don’t care if they are minors), this was also clearly yet another example of black on hispanic hate crimes.
My heart goes out to the victim and her family, and more generally to the hispanic community. When will they say enough is enough of these hate crimes?
When will obama and holder acknowledge that the entitlement mentality they epitomize is in large part the cause of these atrocities?
“I have seen less-blatantly racist statements on neo-Nazi white supremacist websites. IMHO, we don’t need that on FR... “
You’re right. Apologies.
Is that Notorious B.I.G in the upper left?
Two words: James Byrd. The men of the town need to get some log chain and a trailer hitch and have themselves a little "drag" race.
It’s not racist at all.
Really? You need to tell LaRaza and the Hispanic Caucus about that.
"Hispanic" is a bad descriptor for a group that can range from pure-European-white (eg, Cameron Diaz, whose father's side is from Spain) thru European/Native/Black mix to pure Native.
A bullet for each of them. F***ing animals.
It's also a pretty-good description of the typical underclass male of whatever race. What describes the criminal mind is an inflated sense of entitlement.

Only some of them were adolescents. Some of them were in their twenties. The oldest arrestes so far has been 27.

That’s what I wondered when I first read the article. Why was his opinion even included. Who cares what he thinks? Is ABC trying help him promote himself? When someone says something that dumb with absolutely no basis in fact, and are someone nobody has even heard of, they are ignored not highlighted in the news story.
Fair enough, apologies for snapping.
I wonder though if the fault lies with the girl or those entrusted to educate the children to avoid “stranger danger”.
I agree the perpetuators should face the ultimate penalty.
The fault lies with the rapists and those parents who were not so repulsed by what their sons had done that they made excuses for their behavior.
