The Weekly Standards John McCormack notes that Gov. Scott Walkers Democratic opponent, Milwaukee mayor Tom Barrett, endorsed the idea of Republicans just passing the partial ban on collective bargaining in a separate vote Monday night.
You could vote on those without those missing senators. You could vote on those tomorrow morning. You dont need 20 senators to vote on those changes to the collective bargaining. Again, if someone really wanted to end this standoff, the way you would end it is simply have a separate vote, Barrett told Wisconsin radio host Charlie Sykes, adding that he would certainly favor such an approach.
WTMJ had a live forum the other night and they were playing Barretts comments over and over again today, lol/ He got owned!
