Yes! That’s key to preventing voter fraud.

IF some Judge were up to representing The People, he would COMPEL the Democrat Senators to attend a Session, whereby they could then vote on the Original Bill, with a Quorum present.

THIS is the way to go IF he finds that some technicality (notice) was insufficient, albeit that the Dem's playing hide-and-go-seek created "extrodinery circumstances" to circumvent the Legal intent in the first place.

"Do not be concerned. In the unlikely event that a Judge rules against the GOP and rescinds the vote, the GOP will simply vote again. They have the numbers. Now or later, it's a done deal."

I would worry. We lost one Republican senator and it looks like some number of representatives in the final vote. It is amazing what can happen when death threats against members and family are flying. Also, the Democrats are going to spend millions on attempts to recall members. This fight will go on and we are dealing with an enemy that will do anything to win.

The WI Assembly w/o fleebaggers passed Voter-ID, and sent it to the Senate. Because there are costs involved (like state expenditures for IDs for the poor), the lack of a quorum prevented them from voting on it. I think the Senate did “engross” it so it couldn’t be amended by the returning Dems.

when does the stopping of dues collection begin?

I hope the pink slips still take effect because it is less money for the union coffers.

Since there can be no strickes, does this mean the union has to REFUND ALL MONEY COLLECTED FOR A STIKE FUND?

Seems the union members will want their cash!

this is what they did apparently,

they did not strip out the union strike part.

they stripped out everything BUT the union strike part leaving only that in the original bill.

that original bill was noticed and all was fine since it was not a new bill.

“I hope the U.S. Senate and House of Rep was taking notes.”

Exactly! Hey Federal Dudes,,THIS is what ball$ look like,,grow some! Scott Walker is my new hero. I also suspect he is squeaky clean. I am convinced if there was any slime to dig up on him, the journolisters would have it in headlines, bold type, underlined, all caps, screaming from the mountain top, stop the presses print by now. It’s been weeks. This guy must be amazingly clean. hmmmmmm,,,me thinks I need to put on shades while considering his future.

“THAT is my concern.” I think perhaps it’s ok to be concerned but think about it. Worst case scenario - it’s ruled null and void and the WI senate has to vote again. WHOOPSIE! Will the WI Dems flee the state a second time? The GOP should make sure it has a contingency plan for when this happens. I wish the GOP team in WI would consider moving to D.C. in 2012!

“We lost one Republican senator and it looks like some number of representatives in the final vote. It is amazing what can happen when death threats against members and family are flying.” Well, what you say makes good sense. However, just entertain the thought for a brief moment that, it was a “safe” no to vote. I mean, come on, it was going to pass. We saw this in Pelosi’s House all the time. It was a safe no vote for some Rs and frankly, it prevents the media from saying it was a “party-line” vote. So now, it is easier to resist painting ALL GOPers with the same brush. It was a safe out. I think it was strategic. Brilliant, actually.

"Will the WI Dems flee the state a second time?"

In a word, "yes", they would just leave town again to delay the vote, hoping a Recall Election gets them a few more seats in the Senate. That's what the Unions and the DNC are trying to do, by circulating the petitions amongst die-hard Union Members, and the homeless, to get it out there where the vote COULD give them the near-Majority, or even a Majority back to scuttle any further efforts to allow people freedom to choose or opt-out of Union Dues/Union Membership.

Ahhh. Good to know.

Since the Dems were rushing back yesterday, maybe this is something the Senate can get done.

They still need to get rid of same day registration in WI. From what I have read, it rife with corruption.

We lost one Republican senator and it looks like some number of representatives in the final vote.

It was agreed by the majority that those representatives could vote against it, since they are from strong union swing districts.

I don’t understand why they need to give notice for a session of the Senate. They are pretty much in session every day. Why is that a public meetings issue?

Don’t get yourself too wound up. Recalls are based on votes within each district. All associated with the City of Milwaukee are already D’s and would never pass muster in other districts.

During an interview with conservative talk radio host Charlie Sykes this past Monday, Democrat Mayor Tom Barrett of Milwaukee (and Scott Walker’s opponent for Governor) said: “You could vote on those without those missing senators. You could vote on those tomorrow morning. You don’t need 20 senators to vote on those changes to the collective bargaining. Again, if someone really wanted to end this standoff, the way you would end it is simply have a separate vote.

Sykes responded with, “Would you favor that?”

“I would certainly favor that”, replied Barrett, who’s top five campaign contributions came from labor unions.
