I love how the dems are trying to convince this father (who saw it firsthand and lost his son), that he has it wrong.

I agree and duly noted for those listening to this I think. Also it's notable.. many attending this use this as an opportunity to express "other" political stances and using this to voice their own opinions rather than address the issue itself.......and too much time spent on thanking and complimenting each other on how marvelous they all are. It's a wonder anything ever gets addressed yet alone done in Washington.

Here's Naveed Haq, who killed one and wounded 8 in a shooting spree at The Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle. He gained access to the secure building by holding a gun to the head of a 12 year old daughter of a worker while she contacted the receptionist.
My wife was CFO there until about a year before the shooting. If she had still been working, she would have been shot. Her friend is dead.
"Prosecutors also introduced as evidence audio recordings from 10 phone calls that Haq placed to his family after his arrest. In the calls, recorded by the King County Jail, Haq told his mother he was “a soldier of Islam.”
Witnesses testified that Haq, who is of Pakistani heritage, railed against Jews and U.S.-Israeli policies as he opened fire at the federation.
On the 911 tape, Haq said he was tired of the world ignoring the Muslim point of view.
“I don’t care if I die,” Haq told the dispatcher. “This is just to make a point.”

Jasser, the Muslim intellectual on board, gets right to it: the ideology is the issue. There are many Islams. He stresses the Internet again.
I agree. Generally he is OK, but just because Jesus and Mary are in the Koran, that doesn’t mean everything is fine. He might be saying to use this to effect reform.

Says she doesn't think any of the witnesses are experts. I guess losing your son first hand to radicalization of Islam is not considered an expert on the process. Not one Dem has added to the hearing in a positive way. Very combative.
Chip Cravaack, from Minnesota, discusses Sharia law, says CAIR is a terrorist organization. FBI says CAIR is part of Hamas. Baca says don’t make trouble between me and the FBI (joke). Cravaack the strongest so far.
