A Christian author and national speaker has just released a video in which he flays radio and TV commentator Glenn Beck as a pagan, New Age "anti-Christ" who is deluding many believers away from the Bible's teachings and leading them toward Eastern mysticism.

LOL
Glenn who?
Lol!!!! Although I don’t always agree 100% with what Beck says, this attempt to call him a promoter of New Age thinking is patently ridiculous.
LOL - he does look like Eddie.
I have received information from Brannon Howse in the past, and my impression is he is one of those guys who is hypercritical of everyone; that is everyone is apostate (except him of course); therefore he should be read with discernment, but not dismissed out of hand
That being said, I’ve had quite a bit of concern lately with the path Beck has been taking; I’m not a regular listener or watcher, but hear him from time to time, and he seemed to heading in a New Age-type spirituality.
I know a lot of Christians really like him, and he’s done excellent work on American history lately;
Therefore, Beck also should not be dismissed out of hand, but Christians especially should be discerning when a non-Christian like Beck discusses theology.
I may not agree with Beck all the time...although I do more than not, my main problem with the guy is his manic style...I'll take him any day over WND.
Yeah, go ahead with the belief that Beck is a warlock and wears crystals to keep werewolves away. Sheesh! It is amazing that only CONSERVATIVES have their faith challenged. Prove you are a true Christian?! This is so stupid.
Not anti-Christ, just a “different Christ” Mormons believe some strange things, including the fact that Christ and the devil are actual brothers. So “different Christ” is probably a better description.
Where is Glen?
The "Judge" is one sick dude. He better always keep his meds close by.
Well said.
Beck is Mormon... Most Mormons are good citizens but it is pagan and polytheistic (by definition “New Age”). To disguise its pagan nature, Mormonism applies a thin coat of Christian paint. But Mormon theology claims a mere mortal man can earn godhood and rule over his own planet (blood of the Lamb, need not apply). This being like god is one of the lies of the serpent in Genesis 3:5. All false faiths are based on the lies told to Eve/Adam by Ole Snakey.
Beck is shaking up his competing pagans (liberals), which is good. But everything he says should be examined, in the light he is WRONG at the foundation. I do pray for him everyday that God(of the Bible) will open his eyes to the Truth. God reached down and changed Saul/Paul (Acts 9)) and he became a great champion for Christ! Pray Glenn Beck (add Mitt Romney) soon have Damascus Road encounters with the true and risen Christ... and always pray for the peace of Jerusalem. Google “Mormons can be god” and you’ll find lotsa interesting stuff.
If this guy is going to crticize Beck then he ought to do it from the standpoint of what Beck says. Beck has made no bones about being a Mormon and so everyone can take that in and make up their own minds. A good start would be for everyone to understand where the Mormons differ from orthodox theology.
It would be better if Christian commentators would not break out the ‘Apostate Boggy Man’ theory when someone who is not aligned with them speaks and it would certainly be a lot more Christian!
Mel
We do have one, of course; they call him 'The One' or just the 'O' (as in eternal O). More familiar is his coming of age name and current moniker: Barack Hussein Obama.
And most of the 'sane' KNOW; that Glenn Beck is NO BHO. (Really, cannot take these people! Nor those who would believe this.)
Now, have thought, on occasion; that maybe Glenn would like to be his own version of 'Billy Graham'; but this hardly makes for an anti-Christ. Have also thought; Glenn Beck is no Billy Graham, either.
Well said...agree with you on all you wrote. And love your signature line!
I, too, like Glen Beck, but always listen with caution. I think this applies to a lot of people who are culturally popular within specific groups (politicians, actors, authors, etc.)—we must always apply discernment to those who are trying to influence us.
Blessings!
