In 18-1 vote, Wis. Senate approves bill to strip public employees of collective bargaining rights
Roght. I did read that “fiscal” according to WI law means a bill which spends money. Cutting benefits is not “spending.”

WI will become a right to work state

Wouldn’t private-sector unions still be able to have collective bargaining?

Perhaps, but that is what I believe I heard Walker say in one interview.
“willing to get a job”? They are on a different planet, aren’t they?
I was thinking along the same lines. GOP Lawers reveiwing options while the rats exhaust their resources and expose themselves to be the Marists thugs that that they are.
As we speak, Homeland Security is charging the 18 Republican Senators and Gov Walker with inciting a riot and committing domestic terrorism. .../s
Wow...Negative Nancy.
You are right. That must be an old picture, I saw him interviewed a couple of nights ago and he looked like an old gomer.
As soon as the absconding DIM senators appear on the Senate pass the financial portion. Cram it down their loser throats. Please note: in the interest of a “new tone” I purposefully left off the “Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!”
The slob Michael Moore is now on MSNBC whining.
LMAO....................
Can any photoshop experts here make a picture of Moore in baby clothes in a crib whining??
Well I’m glad it took 3 weeks
I likewise am glad it took 3 weeks. How else would the public learn about the atrocities of the unions in Wisconsin?
It takes many days to get all the details to the surface.
maybe they gave the notice 14 days ago
18 is a majority in Wisconsin senate.
I read something here about a week ago suggesting splitting the bill might make it vulnerable down the road. Perhaps someone else who knows what I'm talking about (I don't) can inform us on this.
Anyone?
You couldn’t cut that much inadvertent irony with a meataxe....
“I dont understand why they didnt just schedule the meeting 24 hours in advance - they wouldve still had the votes to do what they did.”
Maybe true but then, what’s the harm if it is found to be without merit and they have to go back and,,,vote on the bil again? Then the Dems will have to decide again, do they stay and vote or do they leave the state,,again? I think it was a smart move! Maybe the Union Dems will stop playing chicken and next time Walker says get back in the state, they’ll get back in the state. I love it!
I believe a recall was started against him in his district. He is trying to appease his dem constituents. Another "representative of the people" who cares more about himself than any alleged principles he might claim to hold.
I am so sick of politics being a lifetime career path.
That said, Hooray for the rest of the republicans for holding the line! Great news!
