WND has long perpetuated the lie that Americans could not travel to Pakistan in 1981. First they claimed there was travel ban by the U.S. Then they said it was Pakistan who didn’t allow Americans in. Then they settled with the lie that it was difficult for Americans to travel there.

WND promoted the lie that Obama’s first executive order sealed his birth certificate and other personal records.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/2296157/posts
WND claimed that the DNC deliberately omitted language from its certification letters because they knew Obama was ineligible.
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/chat/2534787/posts?page=1
WND claimed that Obama had or was going to issue an executive order protecting the Executive Branch from being forced by a judge to disclose protected documents to journalists. In fact, the proposed order did just the opposite. It protected journalists from being forced to disclose confidential sources to the Executive branch. (i.e. Shield Law) This article was blatantly incorrect and embarrassing that it has since been removed from WND’s site.
There are other instances of WND misinformation. If you google “BuckeyeTexan” and “WND,” you can see most of my comments documenting their yellow journalism.
*Read my FR home page for proof disputing WND’s misinformation.
Thank you, Buckeye.
Hey Buckeye,
I have some time to look at all this and I agree that there appear to have been some journalistic mistakes - perhaps overzealous or “yellow” ones as you say.
WND as I see it has been running hard, breaking one or two stories a day, or week, for at least a decade.
The MSM as you say make mistakes all the time, and network by network or outlet by outlet, they seem to make many more per reader than WND as I (unscientifically) see it - to wit, one major omission or falsification per week for an outfit like the NYT, which has ELEVEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND SIXTY FIVE employees (per Wiki) for WND’s apparent - what - ten?
So yes, WND should be held accountable, but I also think WND should be forgiven as we forgive any other media outlet. Perhaps WND should prominently print a mistakes and omissions column... Although who else does it prominently?
I certainly remember the scenario with Berg and that Russian Dentist chick fighting over the BC issue and WND caught in the middle of the bombast. Reminded me frankly of the fight over the Minutemen with their two leaders Simcox and Gilchrest who fell out with each other on the pages of WND and on the G G Liddy and Mike Reagan Shows. Embarrassing but entertaining.
And here we are with WND and its (probably) tiny budget, and big war for constitutional conservatism.
So I do tend to give them a rare break, as I forgive my closest friends for rare indiscretions, and as I would forgive General G S Patton himself (probably not known for farting at the dinner table) if he farted at my dinner table.
Plus I do admit I like the UFO stories!

By the way you should read the following and compare it with your knowledge:

It is what pops up online when you type:
OBAMA’S FIRST EXECUTIVE ORDER
into google.
