This philosophy has real PR potential, IMO.
I've always believed Europe will turn away from international leftism, and when it does, it will be in the blink of an eye.
Seems not to be very unique for the French..
Based on the article, I am happy to see that LePen is not her father. There may be hope for Europe, yet.
What is your take on the new FN?
If it is new at all..
There maybe some unpleasantness in the NF’s past and present, but note to the libs at the WS, “The Blank Slate Theory is bunk and it is hitting the wall of reality at full speed these days.”
BTW.
I really recommend “Revolution in Europe: Immigration, Islam, and the West” by Caldwell.
Pretty much the definite work on the issue so far.
that detailed explanation of the French electoral system certainly explains why they are so screwed-up
Marine Le Pen could well be France’s first woman president particularly if the FN takes a hard stance on Islamization. I was in Paris shortly after the first Islamic riots in 2005 and the local French people I talked to were hoping Sarkozy would take a very hard line on the rioters. I think he lost a lot of support when the riots only got worse. A terrorist attack in France by Islamic jihadists could sway voters toward the FN especially if Le Pen calls for a crack down on Islamic radicals in France.
I was in Paris during the 2002 campaign, for about 9 days, and can attest that the "fascistic" behavior was all from the Anti-Le Pen folks. Nor was Le Pen's campaign like any of the other stereotypes, which the media offered.
The plight of Europe, today, is basically desperate--just as the plight of California, today. One can only pray that the influence of those willing to stand up for the preservation of their respective nations continues to grow--both here and there.

The Weekly Standard does not appear happy with the rise of the FN, which appeals to the unemployed, the young, and most importantly, the working class. Just like in the US, the two largest French parties have come under the control of the globalists and multiculturalists. Although the author believes Le Pen’s chances of being elected are “slim,” I think he underestimates the frustration and anger of the French voter. French nationalism will emerge as a powerful electoral force. The people have had enough. And France is not alone in Europe in this regard.
Who, which government body, is enforcing the "globalism." so much so that it becomes totalitarian?
She sounds inflammatory (by design, I am sure) but silly (unintentionally, I am also sure) when she says that.
Franks electing a Jew to be their president? I'd like to see that phenomenon. Doesn't Kahn "fail to have the face of rural [real!] France?"
The National Front is the only political party in France that is serious about doing anything about immigration and multiculturalism.
Sarkozy is a fake.

I was skeptical of Le Pen for many years, now I wholeheartedly support her.
I understand her father puts her in somewhat of an awkward position. But I truly believe she does not share her father’s racist tendencies.
The bottom line is, I believe the Front National is the best hope for France. Sarkozy had his chance and he didn’t get it done.
