No offense, but you haven’t been paying attention to some recent news stories here in the US. Of course, it’s bound to happen, eventually, everywhere, that right and wrong get turned on their heads.

Cop says he’s collecting for some police charity.
Woman’s shihtzu barks at him from behind her ankles.
Cop says “excuse me”, draws gun, shoots dog, then says “about that donation...”.
I remember reading about this mayor. Someone called the cops saying the mayor had marijuana in his house. Cops came. They shot one Lab , the other one ran and hid under a bed. They shot it too. Mayor didn't have any drugs. I don't know what the outcome of that was.
