Approval 48%
Disapproval 52%
it’s amazing what an influence the media has on at least 20% of the population.
Unemployment under Bush was about 5% (actually it was probably negative 5%, because he was importing all those illegals)
Gas prices were about the same as they are now, but it was because an economic boom, not because of poor leadership that led to Middle-East crisis.
Everyone was moving into a house and bragging how much their value went up (although it was a bubble), yet the media was able to get the majority of the Americans to have a rating a bit lower than this current president that’s had absolutely nothing good happen to this country under his leadership.
Hard to believe this dude is hanging in there with the gas and food prices, middle east unrest, etc. I guess his numbers were worse when the Liberal majority was ramming through their big agenda items. With our House control, there are no big ticket issues from the left in congress, and the left is able to claw back a little bit by thrashing the Republican agenda.
poll numbers go up, poll numbers go down, but the aroma remains the same
Apprantly the American electorate is asleep...
You are forgetting about Obama’s greatest asset.
Racist blacks that support him with 90% approval numbers because of the color of his skin. That pads Obama’s numbers an extra 13%. Obama would be near 30% approval if blacks weren't so racist.
Not hard to believe at all. The entire MSM is now keeping him in office the same way they put him there. We have weak Republican leadership who refuses to come out in a very public way against his energy policies, his foreign policy and everything else. Always the same people speaking out - Bachman, West, Palin. The rest are cowards worried about how the media is going to spin it.
Apparently they are serious about tapping the Strategic Petroleum Reserve, so their internals on the effects of the gas price must be far worse than this poll.
It’s discouraging beyond words to watch what Obama has done, and is doing to this once great nation, and see how the public refuses to see what’s before them.
High unemployment, high gas prices, crumbling infrastructure.
And yet, the State Controlled Media spins, and the sheeple love Obama.
His war on prosperity is working.
Correct. Add to that Hispanics who also overwhelmingly support him.
As I've said time and time again, there are simply not enough white people moving to the Republican party fast enough to offset the massive minority support for Obama and the Democratic party. The GOP loses the minority vote in such massive numbers now that in perhaps 10-20 years time it will be difficult for us to even hold places like Texas. The growth in Hispanic voters determined to vote for Democrats was a huge factor in re-electing Reid in Nevada.
And yet, the State Controlled Media spins, and the sheeple love Obama.
Because the sheeple have been made to believe 0bama is the savior from Heaven bringing relief from the evil wrought by the Satanic Bush. More than half of those polled still... somehow... believe the current economic troubles are Bush's fault. It's sickening how malleable Americans' minds have become.
And with illegals nesting here and breeding like rabbits, producing future democrat voters, the future looks dark indeed.
The media has failed in its role of adversary. It only applies when there is a Republican in office. Were still at war, Gitmo is still open and gas prices are skyrocketing, yet now we hear crickets from the MSM. Isn’t that what the left was yelling about before the election? Add the economic problems, unemployment etc. and there should be lots for them to talk about. I did see a segment of 60 Minutes last night about poverty showing children and families living in hotels in Florida. Obama’s name wasn’t mentioned once. I guess the economic problems have nothing to do with him. s/ They decide what is news and then report it whatever way suits them.
