Fortify your house. Not only does it really, really, really, really slow down ‘accidental’ raids, you can often get enormous discounts on the theft part of your insurance.
Excellent point. I’ve actually thought of that many times... Maybe you could even set up firing lanes in the house: Some walls would stop bullets, some wouldn’t. Some would have gaps or holes in the armor. Only I would know which was which... BANG, BANG, BANG... “Hey, he’s got armor plating in the walls”... BANG, BANG, BANG... “Wrong, a**hole, I left that little gap just for you.”
