A new poll spotlighting the faith community's outlook on the 2012 campaign shows that evangelicals have high views of Mike Huckabee and Sarah Palin, less-than-enthusiastic views of Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney, and low views of President Obama.
SNIP
Among evangelicals, Huckabee's ratings (88 percent favorable, 11 percent unfavorable) led those of Palin (79 percent favorable, 21 percent unfavorable), Gingrich (57 percent/37 percent), Romney (56 percent/29 percent and Ron Paul (51 percent/26 percent). Obama, though, is viewed favorably by only 6 percent of evangelicals. Ninety-four percent view him unfavorably.
The Barna survey was based on interviews with 1,021 adults nationwide Feb. 10-18.

But, will they work to defeat him this time?
He don’t need them anymore. He’s got his union boys fired up this time.
You bet! He’s a racist moslem, that’s why!!
silly, MSM, still won’t report the truth, will they?
I'll forgive his economic overreaching and his uncertain foreign policy a whole lot sooner than accommodations with national immorality.
Oh Gawd, not Huckabee. I’m staying at home if he’s the nominee.
To lose the evangelical community he would have first had to have them. I don’t know any evangelicals who ever had a favorable opinion of him.
I was hoping that more Evangelicals would have seen through Huckabee by this time. But in any case, I don’t think he has a chance of winning if he runs, so the only danger is that he will try to run interference for some jerk again, the way he did last time.
Even the flawed policies of Senator McCain would look good in the White House right now.
Staying home means Obama wins. It is beyond gross.
It’s no wonder.
If he were in the pocket of Arab Oil, then prices would skyrocket during his presidency, wouldn't they?
Arn’t they!!!
Thank you. You are correct. I’m glad some understand.
So Obama's bad but not that bad, huh? Heck, I couldn't stay home if John Kerry changed parties and won the nomination. To claim you would stay home if Huckabee is the nomination is doing nothing but diminishing the fact of how bad of a President Obama really is OR putting politics within the republican party above the future of this nation.
Amen to that! Heck, I'm missing the Clinton years already and I hate the Clintons (politically).
Oh, I held my nose and voted for McLame. I’m never doing that again.
I will vote for anyone but Mitt.
That doesn’t mean I’ll like it, but I voted for McCain, and the really hard one was Crist. So I can vote for Huckabee, who is at least a good man.
Mitt helped bring us Obamacare. I just can’t pull the lever for him.
Huckabee drops out, gingrich drops outs and Romney drops out. Palin runs what would be the percentage of the 1021 evangelicals voting for Palin.
I will not vote for Huckabee, Gingrich or Romney. Anyone of these names on for the primary in Michigan in 2012 forget it. If the RNC asks me to support either three I will hang up.
Huckabee - RINO
Gingrich - RINO, also he had an affair while married to his first wife when she had Cancer - I Do means more to me than a man having to have something, for better or worse does mean something - past behavior - he gets a better offer, will he go where he gets more money.
Romney - RINO,Romneycare, Mormon Faith. Mormonism is not a recognized faith of evangelicals.
