Government is organized crime. It's a protection racket, an extortion racket, a ponzi scheme, a slush fund, it's just an operation for looting productive citizens.

This government is all those things. No doubt about it.

Constitutional republican self-government as envisioned by our Founders was not any of those things, though. Their intent has been perverted.

Rotten to the core. Both parties.

Very limited government can be clean. That is what the founders gave us. There wasn't a lot of money in government, and there wasn't much power either. Therefore, the criminal class found better things to do, and the people who did decide to go into government tended to be actual public servants.

But as government got bigger and bigger, the temptations grew. Now, the money and power is too much and it seems that almost all who go into government are quickly corrupted.

We would need to cut the federal budget 50% (at least) to even begin putting this genie back in the bottle.
