I don’t like to encourage the coyotes any more than necessary.

Erect a HIGH fence with exception of closing the gate. When deer are eating you lawn close gate. When owners of said deer come to get them charge them grazing fees..... ;^}

LOL! I live on a hill on Lake Travis. Be kinda hard to fence the deer out, the way we are situated. We just have to grin and bear it-—

I wager you have a pet canine. Coyotes serve a purpose and if not a coyote, a possum, skunk, domestic canine, carrion beetle or bacteria will consume said carcass leftovers.

So the deer population is collectively owned?

So the deer population is collectively owned?

I believe that is a well established point of law. The control of a given state's deer population is that of its DNR or some such department.

If the deer population is collectively owned than they were within their rights to hunt their own deer. Unfortunately, for all intents and purposes, deer are actually owned by the government, and that is plain wrong. Much worse than the supposed crime of killing a deer for food.

The government owns the government. We are long past a government for the people and by the people.
