FRED GRANDY RETURNS TO RADIO TOMORROW ….. In BALTIMORE ON WCBM
Washington, DC – Fred and Mrs. Fred Grandy will be guests on the Sean and Frank Show on WCBM-AM (680) in Baltimore in the 8 to 8:15 a.m., Friday segment.
The show’s hosts are expected to ask the Grandys about the circumstances surrounding the CAIR-induced abrupt end of their association with WMAL- AM here in Washington, DC.

BTW, those were pre-1995 numbers. Who sits on the ACU board now makes no difference.
I didn’t make the comparison.
My statement is that the ACU is not the group it pretends to be, and should not be used for a measure for conservatism.
If you want to believe the group that put Suhail Kahn on its board thanks to Grover Norquist, it is your priviledge.
You saying what constitutes the ACU now has anything to do with their archived ratings going back 16+ years ago? Gimme a break.
I know all about Frank Gaffney’s and David Horowitz’s problem with Norquist and I agree with them. I don’t know that that has much do to with the rest of the board’s rating congress on the various issues not germane to the muslim issue.
Can you offer an alternative ratings site in the mean time? I’m interested.
You like ACU, that’s fine. I have never trusted the place since the rise of Keene and Norquist in its ranks in the mid 90s.

CAIR tried and tried and tried to get Lee Rodgers, but they never did. Lee was gone at contract time and I’m pretty sure it was only about money.
If you listen to Suss (Brian Sussman) in Lee’s time slot now, you’ll hear that he is equally against militant Islam and often has on former Muslims and moderate Muslims who denounce Shariah law and pretty much everything else Islam is trying to cram down our throats...
In fact, Rodgers was let go before the end of his contract, and then he fought Suleman regarding the payment of the the remainder of his contract.

Just announced on WCBM that Fred Grandy will NOT be on today. There are some legal issues involved, and they said he will be on to talk about him leaving but not today.

Yes, he seemed irked that you didn’t believe his assertion that the station wasn’t putting pressure on to tone down the Islam language. The thing is that Chris is absolutely vicious in his attacks on Islam. When he said he hasn’t felt any pressure and would likely say something on air if he had, I believed him.
I was concerned with many of the left wing interests way back when Geoff Metcalf and Jim Eason were taken off KSFO, replaced by Rush and Dr. Laura.
AT THAT TIME I considered Rush to be far more mainstream than our local people. I think it may have had something to do with his marriage to the lovely Marta as he's quite strong now and even makes jokes about the fact that HE does have a birth certificate.
Geoff came to a Silicon Valley NRA Members’ Council meeting and told us that his being replaced was absolutely a business decision regarding advertising attractions including national companies, but I always wondered if it had to do with how effective Geoff was on gun issues and what we later came to know and not love as the New World Order. Jim too.
Some good news I hope: http://www.radioink.com/article.asp?id=2113782&spid=24698 . Apparently Suleman is on his way out. Unfortunately I'm not finding a lot on Lew Dickey personally so I don't know if he's a good guy or a bad guy or just a business guy, but least he's not a muslim.
